CONTENT SPEC: STANDARD

What we need from show content. The upload page checks every file against this as it's added and tells you what matches. Nothing is ever blocked: a file that differs is still delivered, and the team gets a note.

How to send files, how long it takes and what to do if it's interrupted: How to deliver.

NAMING YOUR FILES

We prefer name_surface_version.ext, for example FONO_awall_v2610011432.mov, with the surface codes in the table above. The upload page suggests a name where yours differs. Answer each suggestion before you upload: USE it or KEEP your own name. You never have to rename, and KEEP ALL MY NAMES answers them all at once.

Versions: we prefer the date and time, _vYYMMDDHHMM (for example _v2610011432 for 14:32 London time on 1 Oct 2026). Date versions like _v251002 (YYMMDD) or _v20251002 (YYYYMMDD) are accepted, and so are simple numbers like _v1 or _v001. The full date and time is preferred because it allows more than one version a day. The longer kind always counts as newer: a simple number, then a 6-digit date, then an 8-digit date, then the full date and time.

A file with the same name can't be delivered twice. Send a new version instead; the page offers the next version number for you.

Files for different surfaces of the same piece share a name apart from the surface (FONO_awall_v3.mov, FONO_floor_v3.mov) and should run the same length, to the frame.
